I’m a system neuroscientist, currently fervently learning from animal behavior, driven to explore and understand the neural underpinnings of vision. My scientific career started by learning about invertebrate vision in the laboratory of Alexander Borst. After my Ph.D., I switched gears to expand my experience in vertebrate vision by joining Markus Meister and co-affiliating with Josh Sanes’s labs for my Postdoctoral studies. In 2017 I started my lab at IST Austria, where we have been merging our lab members’ and my prior experiences with a strong emphasis on behavior, population dynamics, and visual attention.
