Tomás Masson

I started as a joint postdoctoral researcher in Jösch and Kondrashov groups after obtaining my PhD diploma in Biological Sciences from the National University of La Plata, Argentina. My research interests lay at the intersection between Evolutionary Biology and Neuroscience. In particular, I seek to understand how the molecular codes present at the cell surface of neurons impart the synaptic specificity required for the assembly of neuronal circuits. In doing so, I hope to unravel the basic design principles implemented by the nervous system.
